LATHAM EXPANDS ITS REAL ESTATE PRACTICE WITH THE ADDITION OF TWO COMMERCIAL REAL ESTATE FINANCING LAWYERS

Freedman’s practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate financing. He regularly represents national banks and other institutional investors in the origination, purchase, sale and other disposals of senior and subordinated debt secured by complex commercial properties across the United States. He is also well versed in servicing and settling distressed and non-performing commercial real estate loans.

Spears represents clients in several transactions, including origination of CMBS loans, construction loans and mezzanine loans; secondary market transactions, including syndications, purchases and sales of loans, and negotiation of co-lender and intercreditor agreements; and workouts.
